Tyrann Mathieu, Kansas City Chiefs safety is another star name who has seen ratings climb. After missing the first week due to COVID testing that was positive Madden 22 coins, Mathieu made his debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. What a first for him was as Honey Badger recording two interceptions one of which he returned for scoring. Mathieu's Awareness rating and catch rate rose by one point to a 99 & the other 82, respectively. His overall now sits at a 96.
After a rebounding performance in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, Titans running back Derrick Henry saw some ratings adjusted although he still sits at a 95 overall. Henry's initial rating was shocking to the majority of fans who believed he was the best running back in the league. Henry certainly proved his case by running 182 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2. Henry's catch improved by two points to 64 but his break tackle dropped to a whopping 92.
Christian McCaffrey (Carolina Panthers halfback) is worth watching. He sustained an injury to his hamstring against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Although injuries don't typically influence the player's ratings in Madden however, it'll be interesting to determine if Henry will be able to replace McCaffrey as the best back in Madden 22.
