That is 6 full played seasons worth of analyzing mind you. On one team I have Watt and Madden 21 coins Cox getting 20 sacks, on the flip side, I've Donald with two in 6 games. It also makes getting tackles with linemen very demanding considering the only tackles you get are behind the line if anything.
This brings up a different issue, we need MORE SLIDERS.
That I ought to be able to get off the cube and play as a linebacker when I need. As it is right now, once you get blocked you're forced into those shedding animations rather than being able to get them off openly.
For example, if I sense the toss, I want to just back off right off which isn't realistic. I should be able to soak the block, create the read, then have the ability to disengage that obstruct should it see it coming with no shed. At that point, it should be dependent on the oline creating the drama.
The problem with this is, blocking is a fucking mess and they do not understand how to read things that is not animation based. This is exactly what makes backs and oline blocking so good. The dline is far too determined by pressure and sheds moves, rather than someone reading a drama and getting off a cube whenever they see it coming.
It is just really poor coding. We should have as much fun playing with a Dlinemen as any other position but sadly that is not the case.
I like it better when you have to figure out how great they are by taking a look at their attributes and don't necessarily translate to success on the area. It occurs irl.
I have not purchased it . I picked it up this season since my friend is a TB enthusiast and wanted to get our old team back together for some online franchise fun.
Aaaaaand....we're all still waiting for the buy Mut 21 coins pleasure. This is the worst, most laziest, half-baked turd of a Madden game I have ever playedwith. Everyone involved, from EA into the NFL should be ashamed.
